residency in the state. A vision test is required
for persons having a valid out-of-town state license.
A $15 fee is charged and must be paid in cash.
Out of State newcomers need birth certificate
and proof of residence.

Registration
Dogs, cats and other domestic animals must be
inoculated for rabies annually and wear proof
of vaccination at all times. According to the
City of Cordele ordinances, dogs must be registered
and license by the city. Furthermore, they must
either be leashed or restricted to the owners'
property.

Infrastructure.
Crisp Co. Power Commission provides reliable and
competitive priced electricity from its hydroelectric,
coal and gas generating facilities and from purchases
through its membership in the Municipal Electric
Authority of Georgia (MEAG).
Natural Gas available from the City of Cordele
in industrial quantities on both a firm and interruptible
basis.
Water plant capacity is 6,408 million gallons
per day, 4,338 million gallons per day are available.
Garbage and sewer plant capacity is 5 million
per day 2.5 million gallons per day are available.
Commercial and industrial garbage accounts within
the city of Cordele are contracted out to a private
garbage service.
County: Trash drop-off is provided for household
garbage through a county disposal system with
20 cubic yard containers. Businesses are not allowed
to dispose of waste in these containers. Disposal
at the Crisp Co. Landfill is open for businesses
and homeowners.

Children entering Georgia Public School for the first
time must present proof of immunization against measles,
mumps, rubella, polio, Whooping cough, diphtheria, and
tetanus, as well as proof of eye,ear and dental exams.
Students who are enrolled previously should present their
